Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Cool Grey’ – Reverse Jumpman

Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Cool Grey’ – Reverse Jumpman

Air Jordan Xi Cool Grey 2010 Retro Error 05

What’s wrong with this picture? Pictured in the above left is the left upper heel of an Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ Retro 2010 version, while the other three (clockwise) depict the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ from the CDP, the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ from the Defining Moments Package, and the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ from 2009. The obvious difference is that the Jumpman on the Cool Grey is facing the reverse direction of those on the other three pairs. This early pair was purchased from a legitimate sneaker retailer and features one daunting error in quality control, as the Jumpman is facing left, and while the Original pairs of the Air Jordan XI shared this feature, where both the rear Jumpman logos were facing the front of the shoe, all of the recent Air Jordan XI Retros – going as far back as the 2006-release of the DMP, feature both Jumpmen facing right, regardless of which side the shoe is on.

Is Jordan Brand going back to the original logo-ing? Compared to other shots of the 2010 Retro of the Cool Grey, the answer is no; all of the other preview images we’ve shown you features the proper logo that stays in line with current trends. We know mistakes happen and usually these B-Grade (or even C-Grade – yes, those exist too) items end up being shipped straight to the Nike Factory and Clearance stores, but some believe this is one egregious error that should not have occurred in the first place. However, this factory mishap of sorts could end up being a prized gem for the owner, as the OG placement of the Jumpman could make this particular pair worth ever more.
