But in the case of the Nike Convention Low, it’s a reference to the way things are (were) commonly done, i.e. the combination of familiar early-mid ’80s basketball aesthetics into a new lifestyle model. And this new Japan-exclusive pack takes it a bit further, bringing in some classically ACG-style aesthetics to prove that this faux-baller has a rugged side.
