Welcome Back The Nike Air Icarus In 2016

Nike Icarus Returns 2016 Retro 01

For fans of early Swoosh running models like the Nike Air Pegasus and the recently brought back Nike Air Odyssey – we have some good news: the Nike Air Icarus will return in 2016. Originally debuted in 1991, Nike is celebrating the oft-forgotten running model’s 25th anniversary in style by bringing back a number of original and vibrant colorways. The Icarus Extra might’ve been more widely sought after by vintage collectors (that shoe debuted a year later in 1992) but here the dedication to the originals is seen thanks to tonal Sail off-white goodness paired with exceptional accents like a Black/Bright Crimson combination or a Volt Flash/Fuchsia look. What do you think of Nike celebrating the Icarus? Check out more photos below and we’ll let you know when this retro is available stateside come the new year.
