The Toki Mid has become an integral part of Nike Sportswear’s casual catalog, its chukka styling adapted from the turn of the century Air Sabaku that took its name from the Japanese word for ‘desert’. So Nike named their original desert boot literally, which means that in the case of the new Nike Suketo, you might be expecting a boat shoe to match the Japanese river to which its name is a direct reference. To the contrary, they seem to be a descendant of Sabaku desert boot DNA with a bit of formality thanks to the wingtip-leaning toe perforations. Check out white and Wolf Grey pairs up close after the jump and then find yours at NSW retailers like Titolo.
