Iconic Skate Art Hits the Santa Cruz x Vans Slip-On

Vans Santa Cruz Slip On Screaming Hand 11

There are perhaps no two brands more iconic to skateboarding in California than Santa Cruz and Vans. Both around since the early days of the sport, the skateboard company and skate shoe giants teaming up makes more sense than just about any other collab you’ll find. Already releasing a number of special edition sneakers in the past, the two are back again with this Slip-On celebrating the famous Screaming Hand artwork by Jim Phillips that’s been synonymous with Santa Cruz ever since it debuted as a skateboard graphic thirty years ago. Speaking of thirty years, Santa Cruz and Vans are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Screaming Hand with a traveling art exhibit that lands at BEAMS in Japan this Saturday, where this limited edition Slip-On will be released.
