As usual with Air Jordan Retro releases, it looks like Rip Hamilton got his hands on a pair of the “Three-Peat” Air Jordan 8 early. An obvious perk of being on Team Jordan throughout most of his career, Rip always scores the retros early, and he seems to be liking the all-new Air Jordan 8 colorway as evidenced by the use of multiple flame emojis on his Instagram post. Inspired by Michael Jordan’s first three-peat with the Bulls which was completed in 1993 while wearing the Air Jordan 8, the shoe features a heavy lean towards a Phoenix Suns color scheme since that’s the team the Bulls beat in the ’93 Finals.
