The Nike Air Max 97 Appears In Yet Another Gold And Red Colorway

The Nike Air Max 97 has served as a canvas for all types of metallic embellishments as of late. After both the “B-Sides” and a ladies-only metallic pack of 97s dropped in November, the Swoosh Brand is planning to keep the showy Max train rolling right along this December with yet another opulent take on the Christian Tresser-designed masterpiece. These new Maxes feature an elegant gold on the mudguard and swooping reflective overlays, while a tightly woven silver mesh is called upon as the base for a two-tone luxury material look. What sets these 97s apart from past releases, however, is the hot red hits that appear on both the midfoot and tongue branding. A white midsole and gold Air Max unit offer further contrast, and the look is then rounded off by a white midsole with a pair of red stripes: one towards the toe and one on the heel. These new 97s just dropped at EU stockists like Lifestyle Sports, and will likely arrive at US retailers in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more information as it’s available.
