Nike Blends The atmos Safari With The LeBron 16 Low

Nike Blends The atmos Safari With The LeBron 16 Low

Nike Basketball’s design squad has been reaching new levels of creativity with their seamless blends of past and present. It all started with the LeBron 15 and the #LeBronWatch program, which saw the Flyknit-uppered basketball shoe received modifications both subtle and severe to mimic some of LeBron James’ favorites of the past. It continued with the LeBron 16 silhouette, and for the upcoming Low model, the Swoosh has called upon one of the most revered collaborations of the past. Revealed by j23app, the Nike LeBron 16 Low “Safari” hybridizes the upcoming Nike LeBron 16 Low silhouette with a reconstructed upper that mimics the famed atmos x Nike Air Max 1, a shoe that originally dropped in 2003. This upcoming release utilizes the safari-textured pattern on the mudguard with the earthy brown and tan hues on the suede upper, while the gum sole truly nods to the ’03 original rather than the ’16 remake. While a release date is not known, it is possible that a drop of this nature will fall under the aforementioned #LeBronWatch category, so stay tuned for updates as a release may happen soon.
