Damian Lillard’s Tribute To Stone Cold Steve Austin Arrives On January 25th

While Damian Lillard has made a name for himself for his epic exits, this upcoming colorway of his signature shoe nods to an individual known for the most electrifying entrances in the history of sports entertainment. That would be none other than the Texas Rattlesnake aka Stone Cold Steve Austin, whose gripping glass-shattering walk-up music has captivated arenas filled to the brim while striking fear in his opponents. adidas has gone for both the literal and figurative detailing for this tag-team offering, applying a “Dame 3:16” on the medial midsole while upholstering the upper halfway with snakeskin as a nod to Austin’s signature vests. There seems to be a mutual respect for one another for sure; Lillard dressed up as the famous pro wrestler on Halloween in 2018, arriving at the arena with a championship belt, Austin 3:16 t-shirt, and a rubber mask. Stone Cold responded to the news on Twitter with a “Oh hell yeah!!!”
