The Nike Air Force Max II Gets Draped In Chicago Flag Colors

All-Star Weekend is undoubtedly a big deal, and despite the Nike umbrella showing off many of its releases to come in celebration, it seems they still left quite a few out. Among that sort — lying low next to statements such as the 1985 remade Air Jordan 1 — the Air Force Max II does its best impression of the Chicago flag, the event’s current home turf and home city to one of the model’s frequent wearers in Anthony Davis. Uppers are doused in the vibrant, almost fluorescent blue in close entirety, stopping only at the sole unit, emblazoned swoosh, and the overlaid cages. The latter, which serves to accent an essentially panel-less construction, takes on a slight translucence with molded textures akin to the backdrop it shrouds. Leading down to speckled midsole walls, the securing piece embellishes with the six-point star of the Windy City’s colorful flag — showing it here in red and four-fold. The tread dyes to match as does check brushed atop the side, leaving all else the sky-tinged cool tone. Grab a detailed look at these here and find them at Nike.com right now for $160 USD.
