Michael Le Stoner culture is often inaccurately known for many things — an incurably lazy disposition one of the most notable — but once you take the time to understand the scene, you realize its actually layers deep. From various methods of smoking to a multitude of ways to roll a joint, weed has become an outlet in more ways than one and Nike SB is more than supportive as they celebrate the 4/20 holiday almost every year. And though the last was more dog focused than cannabis, 2020’s is geared to be the most overt in its references as it directly pays homage to the sativa strain “Strawberry Cough,” tagging the commemorative Dunk High with the very same namesake. Painted to the likeness of the titular fruit, the suede uppers mark with red at the entire front half while switching to a green at back in nod to the leafy stems. Seeds spread their mark all across as well, with a playful cartoon character literally coughing just along the side of the heel.
