This Nike Air Max 90 Is A Yellow Hit Short Of A Doraemon Look

Nike has kept the classical Air Max 90 on a busy schedule all-year round, and rightfully so considering that 2020 marks the model’s 30th birthday. Through October the silhouette has been revealed through collaborative projects, colorways both modern and retro alike, and has even undergone an attempted name switch by the Swoosh team to its original moniker of the Air Max III. Straying away from themed-outfits emblematic of the upcoming Christmas and Dia de Los Muertos holidays, the Sportswear staple is now revealing a three-toned iteration that may spark memories of one particular Japanese manga character.

Much like the Doraemon-inspired Nike SB Dunks that released last month, this rendition alternates its upper overlays between similar “Photo Blue” and “University Red” accents; only it falls just a tad bit short in exact color schemes related to the fictional anime figure as it is lacking any yellow notes. Other details to point out on this pair include that of the remixed tongue logos and footbed graphics, both of which are done up with a 3D-inspired look. Scroll further down to check out more photos, and note that they will be dropping likely within the coming weeks on Nike.com.

For other news, images of an unreleased Travis Scott Jordan 4 Olive sample have emerged.
