The Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” Rumored For Return On Film’s 20th Anniversary

The Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” Rumored For Return On Film’s 20th Anniversary

Jordan He Got Game 20th Anniversary

The Air Jordan 13 has had a huge year in 2017, releasing in a number of OG colorways including “Bred”, “True Red”, and the “Chutney”  and “Navy” Lows. There’s even more yet to come, with the “Flint” version dropping this Holiday season, as well as the return of the not OG but still classic “Altitude” colorway. Along with no sign of the “Playoffs” colorway, the other glaring omission from this lineup of releases for 2017 is the original black and white colorway, also known as the “He Got Game” Air Jordan 13 because of its appearance in the classic Spike Lee basketball film starring Ray Allen and Denzel Washington.

But worry no longer if you’ve been missing the He Got Game colorway, because they are now scheduled to return in 2018. Next year also happens to be the 20th anniversary of He Got Game, so it only makes sense that the shoe will be returning on or around the original release date of the film, which is May 1st. It also wouldn’t be much of a surprise if there were some events to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie with Ray Allen and Spike Lee involved, but we’ll have to wait to see what happens, as well as confirmation on an official release date. Stay tuned.
