After recently adding metallic gold sequins and snakeskin graphics to its wavy overlays, the Nike Air Max 97 looks to soften up its stylings for its latest women’s-only offering. Calling upon a two-toned color story, theses classic Maxes decorate its rippled upper in split-like fashion with linen tones taking up a majority of the real estate, followed by baby blue hits arriving on the Swoosh logos, Air units, and overlays that sit closer to the ankles. Beaverton is no stranger to utilizing this specific palette, as we’ve seen a similar combination of tan/blue previously utilized on the classic Air Force 1 back in 2006.
