After having been teased throughout the latter half of 2019, UNDEFEATED’s Nike Air Max 90 collection is set to release in its entirety right before the year ends. Ahead of its late December drop, the black and opti-yellow version of the ’90 model now has official images providing an extremely detailed look at it. At quick glance, this upcoming collaboration may not warrant casual sneaker consumers to bat an eye, but its details warrant a prolonged look. Constructed out of premium leather popular, the running silhouette dons a black upper contrasted with a vibrant yellow at the tongue logo and overlay above the mudguard. The bumblee-bee color scheme continues on the heel, midsole, and outsole, as yellow accents detail the “5Strikes” logos, visible Air-unit panel, and forefoot tread found at each respective location. As the Air Max 90’s 30th anniversary fast approaches, it’s no surprise that the Swoosh tapped UNDEFEATED to bring its flavor to the iconic runner in such a statement, given that this black/opt yellow pair is part of a larger, eight-pack collection.
