The adidas Ultra 4D 5.0 “Solar Red” Arrives On December 12th

When it comes to incorporating technological innovation into footwear, adidas can hang with the best. A recent instance of advanced sneakers is the brand’s Futurecraft 4D lineup; known for its digitally-printed, lattice-structured sole, the design results from over 15 years of research by adidas, a tech company called Carbon, and top athletes. With models such as the ZX 2K 4D and the 4D Run 1.0 adding to the collection, we’ll definitely be seeing more of the distinct soles. Now, combining the 4D technology with the fan-favorite Ultraboost silhouette, adidas has unveiled the Ultra 4D 5.0 in “Solar Red”.

The signature Primeknit uppers, constructed from adidas’s unique FORGEDMESH process, are black, and they’re contrasted by lace cages that sport a vibrant Solar Red paint job. This bright hue also graces the Ultra4D-branded heel mold, while the eye-catching sole is dressed in black, a departure from the usual “Aero Green” outfitted on the bottoms of other models such as the Alphaedge 4D.

The Ultra 4D 5.0 will be released on December 12, with a retail price of $220. In the meantime, enjoy official images here below. In other adidas news, the Yeezy Boost 380 “Yecoraite” has been confirmed for January 2021.
