adidas Consortium Delivers The Rod Laver With Canvas And Suede In Tennis-Ready Colors

adidas Consortium Delivers The Rod Laver With Canvas And Suede In Tennis-Ready Colors

With a preppy vibe and clean construction, the adidas Rod Laver is as much of a winner as the multi-Grand Slam titles champion the model is named after. Although the model takes much inspiration from the styles on the tennis court, the Rod Laver has evolved to become a versatile lifestyle sneaker as apparent on an upcoming adidas Consortium Rod Laver.

Instead of all-leather uppers, the adidas Consortium Rod Laver is dressed in textile uppers made of recycled materials. Although mostly gray, the textile seems to weave different colors together for a multi-colored speckled effect. The suede heel and mudguard are respectively navy and red, which are colors that stay true to the model’s tennis heritage. For a final elegant touch, the eyestays are in a pebbled white leather that had been featured in the Rod Laver “Leather Pack” released in October 2020.

The Rod Laver will be available for purchase at Bodega.com on November 28 at 10am. In other adidas news, the Pharrell Solar Hu “Black Future” has received a release date.
