COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Unveils Nike Air Foamposite One Collaboration For Autumn/Winter ’21

COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Unveils Nike Air Foamposite One Collaboration For Autumn/Winter ’21

Compared to Spring/Summer ’21’s digital-based runways, Autumn/Winter ’21 is far more normal, with many labels now able to put on a show befitting of their seasonal offerings. And just today, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS did just that across the floors of their head office in Tokyo. Alongside some classic, monochromatic tailoring, we were also able to catch glimpse of their newest Nike collaboration: a duo of Air Foamposite Ones.

Characteristic of the CdG diffusion, the general frame of the silhouette is kept intact, only modified slightly at various points. Even the color is rather understated, opting only for either a Triple Black or Triple White palette. Laces loop through leather eye stays in their typical shape, the sole features carbon fiber all the same, and even the collar is constructed identically. The hard shell profile, however, is sculpted entirely unique, bearing a much closer resemblance to a Zen garden than the original Foamposite. What’s more, the CdG HOMME PLUS branding is written in full along the heel and surely the insole as well.

Grab a detailed look at this AW21 offering here and sit tight as a release date is sure to be confirmed closer to said season.

UPDATE 10/26/2021
The COMME des GARCONS x Nike Air Foamposite will release on November 5th at a retail of $520 USD.
