Light Mauve Suede Covers The Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT

The Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT hasn’t dethroned some of the silhouettes in which Michael Jordan played in terms of popularity, but it’s helped propel the legend of Peter Moore’s 1985 design forward with its modern-day modifications. Recently, the updated take emerged in a women’s-exclusive light grey and faint mint colorway.

Unlike debut pairs of the reworked Air Jordan 1, the upcoming sneakers indulge in a predominantly suede material across the upper, not leather. The components around the ankle and visible via the cutout swoosh, however, maintain their standard foam-like build that allows for improved flexibility and comfort. These aforementioned elements all indulge in a purplish grey tone, while laces and branding on the tongue and lateral ankle deviate in a greenish yellow hue reminiscent of the brand’s past glow-in-the-dark finishes. Underfoot, the Jordans also cover their sole unit in the two-tone color combination found up-top, with midsoles donning a minty look.

No firm Nike SNKRS release details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change before the second half of the years commences. In the meantime, enjoy an early look at the pair ahead, courtesy of Instagram user @chickenwop_.
